What this list is. Locations, operators, status and capacity come from Compute Atlas, an open, source-cited dataset of US grid-scale compute infrastructure. Every record traces to a public source; follow the source link under any project name to see it. Smaller and unannounced facilities are not listed, and status can lag real-world events. What it is not. Nothing in this table is a GridSight sentiment score. The ten markets carrying a score are marked in the last column and linked to their Local Sentiment Index page; every other row is a project we can score on request. Scored markets also carry an outcome label: Approved, quiet, Approved, contested, Delayed or Not approved, describing what the deciding body actually did, with any live legal challenge noted separately.
